Samsung's second generation clamshell phone Galaxy Z Flip will arrive in the summer instead of spring next year, as was previously expected. Well-known technology insider and head of DSCC Ross Young came up with the information.

Original Galaxy The Z Flip was introduced in February this year and launched in the same month. In July, Samsung announced its 5G version, which hit stores in early August. Until now, it was believed that Samsung will release the "two" - along with the new flagship series Galaxy S21 (S30) – in March next year. Speaking of the new line, let's clarify that according to the most recent unofficial information, it will be presented on January 14 and its sales will begin fifteen days later.

There is currently no official news about the Flip 2. However, it is speculated that the phone will have a larger external display with more functions, a 120Hz internal screen, the second generation of UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) flexible glass technology, native support for 5G networks, a triple camera and according to the latest unofficial reports, it will boast stereo speakers.

As a reminder - the first Flip got a 6,7-inch display with a 22:9 aspect ratio and a 1,1-inch external "notification" display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855+ chip, which complements 8 GB of operating memory and 256 GB of internal memory. The main camera has a resolution of 12 MPx and a lens with an aperture of f/1.8. Then there is another camera with the same resolution, which has an ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2.
