Samsung has been known to be working on a phone for several months now Galaxy A52 5G, but only partial information about it has penetrated the air during this time informace about the camera. Now the smartphone has appeared in the Geekbench 5 benchmark which revealed not only its performance but also some specifications.

The phone scored 298 points in the single-core test, and 1001 points in the multi-core test. From the device information it appears that Galaxy Codenamed SM-A52B in the benchmark, the A5 526G will be powered by the same chipset used by Samsung's cheapest 5G phone Galaxy A42 5G, i.e. Snapdragon 750G.

Another detail revealed by Geekbench is that the smartphone has 6 GB of RAM and is software-based Androidu 11. It is not clear at the moment if it will have more memory variants, but given that its predecessor Galaxy A51 this was the case (specifically, it is offered with 4, 6 and 8 GB), it is to be expected. The benchmark does not mention the capacity of the internal memory, but it will probably be the same as that of the mentioned sibling, i.e. up to 128 GB.

Galaxy Otherwise, the A42 5G should get four rear cameras, while the main one will reportedly have a resolution of 64 MPx. More information is not known at the moment, and therefore neither is when it could be put on stage. However, given that its hugely popular predecessor was introduced last December, it could be just a few weeks away.
