Samsung is stepping up its partnership with Google on the corporate front, with the tech giant announcing yesterday that it's joining its program Android Enterprise Recommended. The goal is to further improve the security of business customers and increase their operational efficiency.

Program Android Enterprise Recommended debuted in early 2018 with the goal of providing companies with mobile technology for their business operations. The program has a strict list of requirements, and Google thoroughly tests each device before granting approval.

According to KC Choi, executive vice president and head of Global Mobile B2B, Samsung not only met Google's hardware and software requirements for the enterprise segment, but even exceeded them.

Google allows only select devices to join its program, and when it comes to Samsung's portfolio, that applies to both mainstream and rugged devices. According to him, selected devices will be added to the program Galaxy running on Androidfor 11 and above along with phones of existing series such as Galaxy S20 to Galaxy Footnote 20.

Series tablets will also be included in the program Galaxy Tab S7 and rugged smartphone XCover Pro. Google says Samsung has been a key player in the enterprise space for many years and is looking forward to recommending new phones and tablets to businesses Galaxy. Let's add that Samsung has its own security platform called Samsung KNOX in the corporate segment.
