USB cable

Despite the many alternatives available, a large number of users still use a cable to connect their smartphone to a PC. There is nothing to be surprised about, as it is a relatively easy, fast and reliable method of transfer. The vast majority of smartphones with Androidem includes a charger in the package, which can be used as a data cable after disconnecting the mains connector, so no additional investment in accessories is necessary.

Bluetooth

Another time-proven method of transmission, this time completely without a cable, is Bluetooth. Everyone supports this technology these days notebook even the majority desktop computers. The data transfer speed is quite good for newer versions of Bluetooth. Before pairing the devices, make sure they are set to be visible to others in the settings.

AirDroid

AirDroid is a popular web-based tool for managing your smartphone from a web browser (there is also a client for Windows or MacOS). Just download the app to your phone and log in using the on-screen instructions. In addition to file transfer, AirDroid offers, for example, the following functions:

  • sending and receiving SMS messages, working with contacts,
  • file backup and synchronization,
  • smartphone control with keyboard and mouse,
  • finding a lost smartphone,
  • remote camera shutter release.

AirDroid is also available for iOS, but its options are limited. Wireless file transfer from iPhone to Windows PC or Mac and back again, of course.
