Another month is here again, and Samsung is once again putting its efforts into ensuring maximum security and privacy for its smartphone owners through software updates. This year's November security update is gradually spreading among the relevant smartphones from Samsung - this time it was Samsung's turn Galaxy Note 9, or owners of this model in Europe.

The mentioned new firmware version is marked N960FXXU6FTK1, and is intended for Galaxy Note marked SM-N960F. At the time of writing this article, the firmware update was only available in Germany so far, but it should certainly spread to other countries in Europe soon. Samsung released details of this year's November software update earlier this month, about a week before it started distributing it to its foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 2. According to Samsung, the security patch should fix a total of five critical vulnerabilities in the operating system environment Android, twenty-nine more serious threats and thirty-one threats of a moderate nature. This November's software update also offers a bug fix for Exynos 990 processors.

It looks like the said firmware update doesn't bring any other new features and is limited to fixing the bugs mentioned above. Samsung smartphone owners Galaxy Note 9 users can check the availability of the mentioned update in the settings of their phones in the software update section.
