It's only been a few days since the long-awaited conference, to which hundreds of thousands of Apple fans focused their eyes. After all, this was already the third event in the last two months, and in terms of content, it was by far the most spectacular. The apple giant announced a number of new products, but many of them were overshadowed by the alpha and omega of the evening - the presentation of the first chip in the series Apple Silicon marked M1. Officially, this is the very first processor presented by Apple, which will be available in both notebooks and desktop Macs. Of course, we can look forward to above-standard performance, significantly longer battery life and, above all, broad support for new functions. By the way, not yet Apple mainly used chips from Intel and now, years later, it is finally coming up with its own solution, from which, paradoxically, the South Korean company could also benefit Samsung.

The problem, however, lies in the fact that although the Apple company can design the chips, the situation is significantly worse in the case of production and implementation itself. In this case, the giant has to rely on a manufacturer like TSMC, which for the past 5 years has exclusively produced components for iPhone. It could thus be logically expected that even in the case Apple The silicon smartphone driver is reaching for this possibility. However, analysts agree that TSMC will not have sufficient capacity, and Apple so he could look for his old business partner - Samsung. At the same time, these are the only two manufacturers capable of supplying 5nm chips, which plays into the cards of the South Korean giant. The Apple company thus de facto has no other option and, like Qualcomm with its Snapdragon 875, it will probably have to resort to not-so-voluntary cooperation. We'll see how the Apple representatives cut the situation in the end.
