Smartphones have basically completely gotten rid of the frames around the display, and thus a new problem has arisen - what about the front camera. Each company solves the matter in its own way, we have seen cut-outs, "shots" or various sliding and rotating mechanisms. Each such solution is satisfactory, but not optimal, so it is not surprising that phone manufacturers have started toying with the idea of hiding the selfie camera under the display. Some have already started experimenting and have demonstrated more or less successful prototypes with this technology. Now, however, it seems that the camera under the display is probably the near future for Samsung as well, we also "know" which phone will get it first.

It is already possible to buy a phone with a functional camera hidden under the display, specifically the Axon 20 5G model from the workshop of the Chinese company ZTE. However, if we were to look at the resulting photos and videos, most of us probably wouldn't be too happy. The insufficient quality of the photos and videos taken was also the reason why Samsung allegedly decided not to deploy the technology in the Galaxy S21, which is supposed to be introduced already on January 14. However, the South Korean tech giant is constantly working on this new feature and according to the latest reports, it should be used as early as next year in the next generation of the foldable phone Galaxy From the Fold 3. It would be a logical step and the next step in evolution.

The internal camera of Samsung's first foldable phone - Galaxy The Fold was placed in a rather large and unsightly cut-out, but it followed Galaxy Z Fold 2 already offered the classic "shot" that we are already used to, the next and only step that can follow is to hide the camera under the display. It would be logical if this technology debuted at Galaxy From the Fold 3, it seems that the South Korean company wants end the Note series and its functions, including the S Pen stylus, can be transferred to a foldable phone. A camera under the display would certainly be a huge attraction. Are you happy with the cutouts in the display or can't wait to be free of distractions while viewing content?
