It's an open secret that Samsung's Exynos processors, which the company powers in its flagships around the world except for the US, China and South Korea, regularly fall short of rival Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips in benchmarks and other tests. Unfortunately, the situation is not better even among mid-range phones.

A shining example of this is the smartphone Galaxy M31s, which is also sold in the Czech Republic. It is a mid-range device, and the South Korean technology giant has equipped it with an Exynos 9611 processor, made with an outdated 10nm process and a not very pleasing price tag – it is sold here for CZK 8. Although the phone offers various gadgets, one would also expect some performance for the price. It would be sufficient to use, for example, the Snapdragon 990 processor from Qualcomm. The latter has very similar technical specifications, but is more powerful and, thanks to the use of the 730nm manufacturing process, more economical than the Exynos 7, while being a few months older. Galaxy The M31s got a 6000mAh battery, which unfortunately goes to waste thanks to the frugal chipset. Why does Samsung keep trying to compete in the processor field with Qualcomm? Everyone can answer this question for themselves, but one thing is certain, only customers will pay for this "war".

A lot of users are running out of patience and even a petition was created for Samsung to stop using Exynos processors in its flagships. People especially dislike the lower battery life and overheating. When buying a phone, do you decide which processor it is equipped with? Do you have negative experiences with Exynos processors?
