The smartphone market has been focusing on just one imaginary milestone for the last month, which is none other than the next generation 5G networks. They require a built-in receiver module to function properly, and it is of course up to smartphone manufacturers not only to build this module into new models, but also to ensure compatibility, sufficient performance and some added value. It is no different for Xiaomi, which has been competing for a long time Samsung for primacy and is trying to come up with the cheapest and most reliable middle class that will have 5G support. The ideal candidate in this case is the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G model, which was released in March, but is only now heading to the local market, i.e. to China.

Staron's addition to the portfolio will feature nothing more than a powerful Snapdragon 750G chip, a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4820 mAh battery and ultra-fast charging, as well as an NFC chip. The icing on the cake will be a 108 megapixel camera, a number of new functions and, above all, a lower price tag. Either way, this is a worthy competitor to Samsung's smartphones, and although the Chinese user base prefers the Chinese manufacturers, it will be interesting to watch this equal battle to see who will make customers upgrade to the 5G model first.
