An atypically marked Samsung phone appeared in Geekbench 5. The device, codenamed Samsung SHG-N375, according to the popular benchmark, runs on a cheap 5G Snapdragon 750G chip, has 6 GB of RAM, an Adreno 619 GPU and is software-based Androidin 11

The specifications mentioned above indicate that it could actually be a smartphone Galaxy A52 5G. The problem, however, is that this phone has previously appeared in Geekbench 5 under the codename SM-A526B and received a different score than the Samsung SGH-N378 (specifically, it scored 298 points in the single-core test and 1001 points in the multi-core test, while the latter significantly better 523 and 1859 points).

What's really confusing here, however, is the unusual code designation. While it may not be indicative of anything, the model number happens to be quite similar to the smartphone labeling style that Samsung used years ago, namely (in most cases) until 2013.

This could indicate that Samsung is preparing an entirely new smartphone line Galaxy? Theoretically yes, but in practice it is not very likely, as it already has quite a lot of series (the F series was recently added, even though it is basically a rebranded M series) and another one could make its already wide smartphone portfolio needlessly confusing.

Despite the unusual designation and the discrepancy in the score, it is most likely really the mentioned mid-range phone Galaxy A52 5G. The latter, according to the available unofficial information, in addition to the Snapdragon 750G chip, 6 GB of operating memory and Androidu 11 will have a quad camera with a resolution of 64, 12, 5 and 5 MPx and will be available in white, black, blue and orange. It could be launched in December.
