Leaks about the upcoming flagship series Galaxy S21 has really been a huge amount over the last few weeks, design, color versions, camera even in essence complete technical specifications they are already "known", but the other functions that will take care of the added value of the phone are largely unknown. One of them could include the function of unlocking the device by voice, this gadget should be provided by none other than the notoriously well-known voice assistant from the Samsung workshop - Bixby.

The information that we could expect a new method of unlocking the phone first appeared on the SamMobile server, and if it proves to be true, we certainly have something to look forward to. Voice unlocking should be part of the new version of the South Korean company One UI 3.1 superstructure, which should be pre-installed on Galaxy S21 already from the factory, just like the versions of One UI 2.1 were pre-installed in the Galaxy S20 and One UI 1.1 u Galaxy S10.

The interesting thing is that the voice unlock function was already part of the smart assistant, but Samsung removed it most likely for security reasons. However, according to reports now available, this feature will return in an improved version where voice recognition will be biometric, namely in One UI 3.1, which we should see first in Galaxy S21. It is not yet clear how exactly this gadget will work, nor how secure it will be. We can only hope that if we actually see the function, it won't be fooled with, for example, a voice recording, just like the face scanner with a simple photo.
