South Korean Samsung although in recent years it has produced technically interesting and design-pleasing smartphones, however, it has so far beaten this giant head-on Apple and the Chinese Xiaomi. Fortunately, however, the situation is slowly turning around, as Samsung has also entered the middle class with vigor and hastened during this year, despite the coronavirus pandemic, with a whole range of available and, above all, properly "inflated" models that boast both high performance and an acceptable price tag . And it was this aspect, at least according to the latest information, that helped the company overtake the American one Apple and even dethrone the aforementioned Xiaomi.

Although this only happened in the Indian market, where available smartphones are scarce, it was Samsung's involvement in such a large and potentially lucrative market that helped reduce Apple's global lead. For example, during the third quarter of this year, the total market share was a fair 32.6%, which is a relatively decent increase compared to the 18.8% share from the same quarter last year. The South Korean giant thus managed to match the record from 2014, when the share of the smartphone market was around 37.9%. However, it should be noted that these percentage values are calculated only in relation to economic earnings. Either way, this is a great result and we can only hope that Samsung can maintain this growth.
