We report almost regularly that South Korean Samsung has worked hard on its distribution of updates and is trying to cover even older models, which until now were ringing the edge and threatened to be somehow forgotten. Fortunately, however, the company has reassessed its strategy and is trying to offer the widest possible portfolio of updates. After this year's flagships, several other models also received the December security package, including Galaxy Note 10 and foldable Galaxy Z Fold 2. However, this is definitely not a big surprise, as the model series was the first to receive these pleasant news Galaxy S9 to Galaxy S20 FE.

Either way, this is great news, as Samsung is fixing a number of known and not-so-explored bugs while also patching countless security holes that could have been potentially dangerous. A number of European countries, such as Bulgaria, Švý, have thus received special firmwarecarscotland, Italy, Poland, Germany or France. Of course, other regions should follow soon. However, in any case, the company did not include critical holes in the patch list that could potentially result in attackers being one step ahead and able to target smartphones that have not yet been updated. We'll see if Samsung can sustain this approach.
