The much-vaunted iPhones of competing companies Apple suffering after updating to iOS 14.2 by extreme battery drain, but it seems that this is not the only problem caused by the update. But there is a solution, even the word "fortunately" is not appropriate, because the way to get rid of the inconvenience will not please any apple phone user.

The Reddit forum and Apple's developer forum have been flooded with posts from disgruntled owners of the Californian company's devices, particularly regarding the unusually fast battery drain that appeared to a greater extent after the operating system update iOS on version 14.2. However, according to some users, problems with faster battery drain accompany the system iOS 14 from the start. What exactly do we mean when we mention "extremely fast battery drain"? Many users observe even a 50% decrease in battery after only thirty minutes of use.

Some devices are also accompanied by other non-standard behavior, for example unusually high heating during charging or a jump in the displayed battery percentage, which disappears after the iPhone is restarted. According to available information, the above problems do not concern new iPhones, but only older ones such as iPhone XS, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S and the first generation iPhone SE. And even Apple tablets were not spared the inconvenience, the iPad Pro 2018 with version iPadOS 14.2 is also affected.

Apple recently released a new version of the system – iOS 14.2.1, but it doesn't seem like the problems have gone away. According to one Reddit user, there is a solution and that is to factory reset the device and then set it up as new, unfortunately this will cause iPhone or iPad owners to lose all their data.

This isn't the first time Apple has failed to update an operating system iOS and this or that device suffers from reduced battery life. Do you remember this ever happening to Samsung? If so, share with us in the comments below the article.
