Samsung continues to release the update with the latest – that is, the December – security patch. Its latest addressees are series models Galaxy S10 a Galaxy Notes 20, specifically their international versions (that is, those using Exynos chipsets).

The update is currently available to users in selected European countries, and as with the previous ones, it can be expected that it will spread to other markets in the coming days or weeks. Update for series phones Galaxy The S10 carries the firmware designation G97xFXXS9DTK9 and is approximately 123MB. Apart from the latest security patch, the update doesn't bring anything revolutionary - the release notes talk about "mandatory" (unspecified) bug fixes, improved performance, better stability and improved (unspecified) features.

Updates for series models Galaxy The Note 20 carries firmware version N98xBXXS1ATK1, and here it is true that, apart from bug fixes, better performance, etc., it does not bring any major news.

As for the December security patch itself, it's not known at this point what exactly it fixes, but it's very likely that we'll find out in the next few days, weeks at most (the South Korean tech giant informace publishes with some delay due to security reasons). Samsung started issuing the last security patch of the year surprisingly early, already in mid-November (it was the first to be received by a number of Galaxy S20).

As always, you can check for an update by opening Settings, you choose an option Software update and then tap on Download and install.
