The consumer electronics fair CES will not take place at its classic venue in Las Vegas next year, but we will not miss the event completely. CES 2021 will move into the virtual space, and Samsung will grab a piece of time and attention for itself. Although the Korean company will not present new phones at the fair, we should wait for its vision of the future of televisions. The main point of the program for the company on January 12 will be the introduction of new devices with 8K Ultra HD displays and probably also several new accessories in the form of projectors and soundbars.

In addition to classic LED TVs with higher resolution, Samsung is apparently preparing to reveal the first televisions with more advanced display methods at the well-known conference. The company already has some experience with MicroLED models, but it is rumored that Mini-LED TVs, which are more flexible from a production point of view, should also be unveiled soon. These should bring high-quality displays even to the lower middle class segment.

But don't get your hopes up that Samsung will announce the first devices with QD-LED technology. Such TVs use quantum dots, semiconductor nanocrystals, which contribute to better control of displayed content and a clearer, more vivid picture. The company will apparently decide to skip the technology altogether. We don't yet know which display method they will replace QD-LED with in their future devices. We will find out what they will reveal to us at CES 2021 on January 12 just after noon.
