Shortly before the launch of its new flagship Vivo X60 series, Vivo released an image of the back of one of the models and confirmed some of its specifications. The phones will have an "ultra-stable" micro-gimbal, optics from Zeiss and, except for one, will be the first to use Samsung's new chipset Exynos 1080.

In the official image, we can see a triple camera (led by a large sensor with a gimbal), which apparently complements the sensor of the periscope lens. One of the main attractions of the new series should be, in the words of the manufacturer, an "ultra-stable" micro-gimbal photography system. In this context, let us remind you that Vivo was the first to come up with a gimbal integrated into a smartphone - the Vivo X50 Pro boasted of it. Already thanks to this system, or so Vivo claimed, it offered up to 300% better image stabilization than optical image stabilization (OIS) technology. The fact that the optics were supplied by the Zeiss company also proves that the camera will be top-notch.

The Vivo X60 series will consist of three models – Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Pro+, with the first two being the first to run on the Exynos 1080 chip. The remaining model will be powered by Qualcomm's new flagship Snapdragon 888 chip.

In addition, the phones in the series are expected to feature a Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, 128-512GB of internal storage, and 5G network support. They will be available in white, black and blue gradient colors. They will appear on the scene on December 28.
