If you're not a fan of Samsung's virtual assistant Bixby, you might be happy to hear that the new flagship phones Galaxy S21 the popular Google Discover news reader could appear instead of Samsung Daily (or Samsung Free in some regions of the world), formally called Bixby Home. Well-known leaker Max Weinbach came up with the information.

More precisely, it shouldn't be a replacement - Samsung says it will allow users to choose which reader they want to have on the home screen. Also, Google Reader shouldn't be available only on the series phones Galaxy S21, but on all smartphones running on the One UI 3.1 superstructure (which is supposed to debut on the new flagship series).

If Samsung actually offered this option, it would be nothing short of stunning. In recent years, the tech giant has largely muted Bixby's presence on its phones (e.g. removing the physical button to invoke it from smartphones as Galaxy Notes 10). A change on the home screen would thus be only the last step. It is also worth noting that relations between Samsung and Google have improved significantly recently after years of disputes over the former's proprietary software. And so that the two tech giants are reportedly negotiating with Samsung at the expense of Bixby and business Galaxy The Store promoted Google Assistant and Google Play.

Find out if she's Weinbach's informace correct, it won't take long. Like Samsung itself confirmed (its Indian branch to be exact), series Galaxy S21 will be revealed on January 14 and should be put on sale 15 days later.
