Although it often seems like the tech giants are life-or-death rivals who are not afraid to resort to somewhat unorthodox and controversial methods to assert dominance and supremacy, in many ways this is just one aspect of their growth. In case of emergency, many companies are willing to stand up for the competition, stand up for it and try to establish fair conditions for everyone. This is also the approach of Ericsson, the well-known Swedish smartphone manufacturer, which has decided to help Huawei and urge politicians who have taken a hard line against the Chinese giant and tried to "cleave" the telecommunications tycoon out of the upcoming 5G infrastructure.

It also seems that this was by no means just a symbolic gesture to gain publicity. On the contrary, it was Ericsson's CEO who first arranged a meeting with the Minister of Trade and tried to convince him to lift the ban on Huawei's presence in the country. Among other things, the CEO also mentions the fact that he does not want the market for 5G devices to be fragmented and too competitive. It is all the more remarkable that Ericsson is one of the biggest rivals of the Chinese giant and it is she who was supposed to get the exclusive right to build the 5G infrastructure in Sweden, so we can only wait to see how the situation develops.
