As you know, Samsung is the market leader in small OLED displays, but until the year before last, it did not focus on the production of large OLED screens for devices such as laptops or televisions. The company has now announced that it will expand the range of laptops with OLED screens this year, and has published a video on YouTube highlighting the most important features of these panels.

According to its subsidiary Samsung Display, Samsung's OLED displays offer "filmic and ultra-pure colors" and all the other benefits of OLED screens, such as deep blacks (0,0005 nits), high contrast ratio (1000000:1) and great visibility in direct sunlight.

Samsung's OLED displays for this segment also offer 120% color space coverage and 85% HDR coverage. The South Korean tech giant is expected to reveal more about OLED panels for laptops at its The First Look event tomorrow.

Samsung already presented its range of laptops for this year at the end of last year, but none of the new products use OLED displays. However, it could introduce more laptops with these screens this year. Last year, his daughter supplied OLED panels to Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Razer. Now the tech giant says it plans to introduce a 15,6-inch Full HD OLED panel.
