Technology events are a great opportunity for startups to make themselves known and show their products to the public. However, due to the coronavirus epidemic, all major technology events last year were held virtually, which was not very beneficial for small companies calling for a place in the sun. But more than a dozen startups that Samsung supports as part of the C-Lab Outside program are lucky – the technology giant will give them a helping hand and get them to the virtual stage of the CES 2021 trade fair.

Samsung will show both C-Lab-Outside program startups and C-Lab Inside program projects at CES 2021. The first mentioned was created in 2018 as a platform to accelerate the growth of the startup scene in South Korea. The second is six years older and was created with the aim of helping Samsung employees turn their unique and innovative ideas into practice.

Specifically, Samsung will support the following C-Lab Inside projects at the fair: EZCal, an automated application for calibrating TV image quality, AirPocket, a portable oxygen storage device, Scan & Dive, an IoT fabric scanning device, and Food & Sommelier, a service designed to finding the best food and wine pairings.

In addition, Samsung will showcase a total of 2021 startups participating in the C-Lab Outside program at CES 17, covering a variety of technology areas. Some of their potentially most innovative concepts include a smart stadiometer and scale for children, a live avatar creation tool using augmented and virtual reality technologies, or an AI-powered fashion design tool.

Specifically, these companies are: Medipresso, Deeping Source, Dabeeo, Bitbyte, Classum, Flexcil, Catch It Play, 42Maru, Flux Planet, Thingsflow, CounterCulture Company, Salin, Lillycover, SIDHub, Magpie Tech, WATA and Designovel.
