The unveiling of the new most powerful chipset from Samsung was originally expected at the end of last year. But in the end, the Korean company just thanked its supporters for their patience. Exynos 2100 chipset which according to leaks, it will offer performance comparable to the competing Snapdragon 888 from Qualcomm, will be presented by the company at a separate event on Tuesday, January 12. The presentation of the chipset will precede the official unveiling of the series phones by two days Galaxy S21, inside of which the mentioned chipsets will be ticking.

Similar to the Snapdragon 888, the Exynos 2100 will take advantage of the 2100-nanometer EUV manufacturing process. This will ensure higher performance with better efficiency of energy use. Apparently, the Exynos 2,9 should have one "ultra-performance" core with a frequency of 2,8 GHz, three cores with a frequency of 2,4 GHz and four battery-saving cores with a clock speed of up to 78 GHz. These should be complemented by the Mali-GXNUMX graphics chip and fifth generation network support.

The last generation of the Exynos chipset could not reach a similar level of quality as the competing Snapdragon, but Samsung is promising this time. that it "redefines the standard of premium experience on mobile devices". Whether the promises of the Korean technology giant will come true, we will find out at the unveiling, which will take place on Tuesday, January 12 from 19:00 our time.
