The live stream of Samsung's event called Better Normal for All, which opened this year's CES trade fair, held only in virtual space due to the coronavirus pandemic, set a new viewership record for the technology giant. It garnered over 24 million views on YouTube in the first 30 hours, which is nearly four times the number of views generated to date by his press conference last year and subsequent news announcement.

The roughly half-hour long video has nearly 33,5 million views at the time of writing, and that number is sure to continue to skyrocket as the launch of Samsung's new flagship Exynos 2100 chipset approaches.

In this situation, it will be very difficult for all other participants of the fair to draw any attention to themselves. The South Korean tech giant's announcements on Monday included everything from highly anticipated new models QLED TVs and digital fitness solutions through new home robots and artificial intelligence-powered refrigerators to futuristic-looking digital cockpits or new global recycling program.

This year's edition of the largest consumer and computer technology fair in the world, which otherwise traditionally takes place in Las Vegas, will last until January 14. Coincidentally, on the same day (i.e. Thursday) Samsung will launch new flagship smartphones Galaxy S21 (S30).
