Huawei's next flagship series - the Huawei P50 - should be unveiled in the first half of this year. Now it has penetrated the ether informace, that the phones of the series will be offered in variants with two operating systems.

According to a tweet by well-known leaker Yash Raj Chaudhary, who specializes in leaks related to the Huawei brand, the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro models will be available in global markets in versions with Androidem and HarmonyOS (the Chinese tech giant's own system), while in China they will ship with the latter (known here as Hongmeng OS).

It's not clear at this point if customers will be able to choose which OS they want (just like they can choose a specific memory configuration), or if a certain system will be available in one country and not in others. There is also a possibility that both systems will be installed on the phones and users will be able to switch between them.

The new leak also claims that the base model will get a Kirin 9000E chipset (a weaker version of the top Kirin 9000), 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, and the Pro model will have an OLED display, a Kirin 9000 chipset, 8 GB of RAM memory, 128 or 256 GB of internal memory and five rear cameras.

The new series should be launched at the end of spring or a little later. It will probably be available in China first.
