The wait is over after many months. The South Korean giant has been teasing its latest Exynos 2100 chip for a long time, and although we've seen a lot of speculation and various leaks recently, no one has quite a clue what to expect from the new processor. Fortunately, the CES 2021 tech show took care of this spectacular reveal, where Samsung put on a big show and finally offered an alternative to Snapdragon. After all, the chips from the workshop of a rival manufacturer are not bad at all, but many fans have experienced the vast difference between Exynos and Snapdragon firsthand.

However, Samsung wanted to be independent and offer Exynos in all markets and not just in the selected few, which was confirmed by the fact that it spent months developing the Exynos 2100 chip. not only by the 5nm production process, but also by an integrated 5G modem and a power of 2,9 GHz. And this is not just empty marketing talk, as the Exynos 2100 will offer 30% more performance than its predecessor, and also boasts a graphics unit ARM Mali-G78, which improves by 40% compared to the older model. The icing on the cake is the support for up to 200 megapixel cameras and a whole host of other gadgets, which will come in the coming days.
