Samsung may need to keep a closer eye on the employees responsible for social media operations next time. They released a promotional post on Twitter regarding its next flagship series Galaxy S21 (S30) using an iPhone.

Samsung has since deleted the tweet, but the website MacRumors managed to catch it before that. From the post, it appears that it was published by the US branch of Samsung. She will probably have some explaining to do to her superiors now.

Not too long ago, Samsung was also caught deleting posts that made fun of the fact that Apple sells new iPhones without chargers. The South Korean tech giant now appears to be looking to emulate its competitor, which explains its activity on social media.

In 2018, Samsung sued its brand ambassador for $1,6 million for using iPhone X. Even earlier, in 2012, its CEO and strategy director Young Sohn openly admitted that he uses several Apple devices at home. A year later, tennis star David Ferrer used his iPhone Twitter account to promote the phone Galaxy S4.

The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi also committed a "crime against its own name" last year, or rather its boss Lei Jun himself, when his post on the social network Weibo revealed that he is also a fan of phones with a bitten apple.
