Less than a day after the official full-fledged announcement of the SmartThings Find function, Samsung began to issue it via an update to selected models of smart watches Galaxy Active Watch 2. Users in Canada are getting it first right now. In addition to the mentioned function, it brings several other useful improvements.

The SmartThings Find feature is probably familiar to you - Samsung first mentioned it last summer during the introduction of the smartphone Galaxy Notes 20 Ultra, when he wanted to point out its support for UWB technology (or ultra-wideband; it is also used by the "plush" model of the smart locator introduced yesterday Galaxy Smart Tag). And only yesterday, roughly half a year later, he announced the first practical application of this wireless communication technology, in the form of integration into the application Android Auto.

New update also on Galaxy Active Watch 2 brings the group challenge launched a few days ago (Group Challenge) within the Samsung Health application, support for the Hand Wash application or improved device stability and bug fixes.

The main news of the update, i.e. the support of the SmartThings Find function, will probably also arrive soon Galaxy Watch 3 and other Samsung smart watch models.
