Just a week after Samsung's One UI 3.0 user interface update hit the phone Galaxy From Fold 2, the tech giant started releasing it on its predecessor – Galaxy fold. It is currently available in France, the United Arab Emirates (LTE variant) and the UK (5G variant).

Users of Samsung's first flexible smartphone in these countries can install the new update by opening the menu Settings, by selecting the option Software update and tapping the option Download to install. The update for the LTE version carries the firmware version F900FXXU4DUA1LTE, for the 5G version version F907BXXU4DUA1. It is very likely that it will gradually expand to other markets in the coming days.

The update brings with it features Androidin 11, such as chat bubbles, conversation sections in the notification panel, one-time permissions or a separate widget for media playback and One UI 3.0 features, such as a redesigned user interface, improved native applications or improved widgets on the lock screen and always-on display, wireless DeX, the ability to add videos or your own images to the call screen, better keyboard settings, the ability to edit multiple contacts at once, or improved camera stabilization and auto focus.
