As is known, Huawei has been a "thorn in the side" of the White House since mid-2019, which has gradually imposed several sanctions on it. The latest ones from last year even forced him sell its Honor division, which now allows the standalone company to do business with US companies, including Google, unlike the Chinese tech giant. Now the influential Russian newspaper Kommersant has come with the news that Honor is working on a new series of phones that will have the services of the mentioned American technology giant.

The newspaper refers to an unspecified insider, according to whom Honor's parting with Huawei means that the former's current smartphones will have the Huawei AppGallery application store available, while its new devices to the service and application platform HMS (Huawei Mobile Services), under which the aforementioned store belong, they say they won't have such easy access.

Due to the sanctions of its former parent company, Honor has been launching smartphones without Google services for more than 18 months, which has had a significant negative impact on their sales in markets such as Europe and Russia.

With the next Honor smartphone, or in a row, it will Honor V40, but its models will not have Google services yet, because their development started back when Honor belonged to Huawei. It will probably concern the upcoming Honor X11 and Honor 40 phones. For the sake of completeness, let's add that the presentation of the new series has been postponed from January 18 to 22.
