Samsung announced today that the health function of the smart watch Galaxy Watch 3 a Galaxy Watch Active 2 – measuring blood pressure and EKG – expands to more than 30 other countries, mostly European. The good news is that the Czech Republic is among them.

Samsung's smartwatch measures blood pressure through pulse wave analysis tracked by heart rate monitoring sensors. The ECG measurement function works by analyzing the electrical activity of the heart through a sensor. To use these features, users must have the Samsung Health Monitor app installed on both the watch and smartphone Galaxy. The app is automatically installed on the watch when its firmware is updated to the latest version through the app Galaxy Wearable.

The Samsung Health Monitor app will be available to users in the above markets during February.
