Samsung doesn't just make "classic" smartphones, its range of rugged smartphones is also popular Galaxy XCover. Now, its new model codenamed SM-G5F appeared in the Geekbench 525 benchmark. Apparently it is about Galaxy The XCover 5, which has been speculated for some time as the next phone in the series.

In the benchmark, the smartphone scored 182 points in the single-core test, and 1148 points in the multi-core test. The popular performance tracking app also revealed that the supposed Galaxy The XCover 5 will be powered by a lower-end Exynos 850 chip, have 4 GB of RAM and will run on Androidu 11. The size of the internal memory is unknown at this time, considering the last model of the series - Galaxy XCoverPro – but we can assume that it will be at least 64 GB.

Considering this and other models of the rugged series, we can also expect the device to have water and dust protection that meets military standards (previous models specifically had the US military standard MIL-STD-810G), and a replaceable battery. 5G network support is also likely.

At this time, it is not known when the alleged next representative of the series could be introduced, but it does not appear to be in the coming months.
