Just about a day after Samsung's smartphone for the lowest class Galaxy The A02 has been certified by Thailand's telecommunications authority NBTC, the South Korean tech giant has quietly launched it in the country. The large display and battery life will attract you.

Galaxy The A02 got an Infinity-V display with a diagonal of 6,5 inches (not 5,7 inches, as previously speculated), HD+ resolution (720 x 1520 px) and a relatively prominent bottom frame. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6739W chipset, which is complemented by 2 or 3 GB of operating memory and 32 or 64 GB of internal memory (expandable up to 1 TB).

The camera is dual with a resolution of 13 and 2 MPx, while the second sensor serves as a macro camera. It is capable of recording videos in Full HD resolution at 30 fps. The front camera has a resolution of 5 MPx. A 3,5 mm jack is part of the equipment.

The phone is software built on Androidfor 10 and the One UI 2.0 superstructure, the battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh. It is charged via the now very slow microUSB port, which Samsung unfortunately still uses in its lowest-class models.

It will be available in black, blue, red and gray colors and will be sold in Thailand for 2 baht (roughly 999 crowns) - at the moment it is unknown when. It is expected to arrive in other markets later.
