It's not even February yet, and Samsung has already started rolling out the February security patch update. However, it is only continuing the recent tradition of releasing new security patches for its devices a few days in advance. The first recipients of the new update are the phones of last year's flagship series of the technological giant Galaxy S20. At the moment, various countries in Europe are receiving it.

The new update carries firmware version G98**XXS6CUA8 and is now available to series users Galaxy S20 in Germany, Austria, Switzerlandcarsku, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Great Britain. Just like the previous updates, this one should also be rolled out to other countries soon – i.e. within days.

The update only brings the February security patch, nothing else, and at the moment it is not known what vulnerabilities it fixes (but we should know in the coming days, as with past patches).

If you are the owner Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ or Galaxy S20 Ultra and you are in one of the countries mentioned above, you can check the availability of the new update in a familiar way, that is, by opening the menu Settings, by selecting the option Software update and tapping the option Download and install.
