Samsung decided to break into the podcast field and popularize technology to the general public through this platform. His first podcast is called On/Off Powered by Samsung and is moderated by actor Lukáš Hejlík. You can listen to it on the Spotify platforms, Apple, PodBean, Google and YouTube.
The project debuted last year in Slovakia, where the interviews are moderated by the well-known YouTuber Sajfa (real name Matej Cifra). Actor Lukáš Hejlík became the host of the Czech podcasts, and since this year he is also the Samsung brand ambassador for both countries. The podcast is broadcast every two weeks, and the Slovak communication agency Seesame is behind its concept, dramaturgy and production.
"We decided to launch On/Off Podcasts Powered by Samsung after a long consideration, as only a select group of respondents listens to this type of media. We aim to talk about technology in a non-technical way, as it relates to the general public and belongs to the everyday world. At the same time, we take the platform as another communication channel with our current or future customers and users, as well as technology enthusiasts. I believe that our new podcast will find a lot of listeners who will learn more about current innovations and gadgets in a different form than just from specialized media." said Tereza Vránková, director of marketing and communication at Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak.
The first guests of the podcast were, for example, the travel vlogger Martin Carev, author of the book The End of Procrastination Petr Ludwig or food blogger Karolína Fourová. Hejlík talks with his guests about their work, current topics and, last but not least, how to effectively use new technologies in practice.
