Samsung's new flagship series Galaxy S21 it was introduced a few weeks ago and is already on sale today. The company is now making sure the phones are fully ready for its customers out of the box – they have received HDR certification from streaming giant Netflix.

This means that users will be able to enjoy their favorite movies and shows in HD resolution and the HDR10 profile for an "immersive" experience. However, to watch HDR videos on Netflix, you need to subscribe to its (highest) Premium plan, which costs $18 per month (in our country it is 319 crowns).

Galaxy The S21 has a 6,2-inch Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy The S21+ has the same type of display with a diagonal of 6,7 inches. Both models received FHD+ resolution, support for the HDR10 standard, maximum brightness of up to 1300 nits and support for a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz. Galaxy S21Ultra it has a Super AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6,8 inches, a QHD+ display resolution, a maximum brightness of up to 1500 nits and support for a 120Hz refresh rate in native resolution. So movies will look more than good on the displays of the new flagships.

Netlix currently boasts nearly 200 million paying users worldwide and has long been the number one subscription streaming platform.
