As you know from our previous news, Samsung's new flagship series Galaxy S21 has already gone on sale, and Samsung wants to remind potential customers of this. Therefore, he published a TV commercial featuring models Galaxy S21 and S21+ and which suggests they have enough space for 8K videos.

The reason why Samsung focuses on this in the advertisement is obvious - all models of the new series lack a slot for microSD cards, so the technology giant wants to assure potential customers that the internal memory of the basic and "plus" models, which are 128 and 256 GB, will be enough for 8K videos. We're not too sure about that, though, because if we're to assume that one minute of 8K video takes up roughly 600MB, that means 128GB of internal memory can only hold about three and a half hours of videos at that quality. Of course, this is not enough, but it may not be enough for more demanding users.

In the roughly one-minute spot, Samsung mainly highlights the camera capabilities of both models and briefly touches on battery life. Unlike some past commercials, it doesn't attack its rivals, which is commendable. The range-topping model – the S21 Ultra – is likely to get a separate promo video summarizing what sets it apart from its siblings. You know from our recent news that it is, for example new energy-saving OLED display or support Wi-Fi 6E standard.
