Samsung continues to roll out updates quickly with the February security patch - its latest recipient is a smartphone Galaxy S20FE. The new firmware for the popular "budget flagship" appeared just a few hours after Samsung described in its bulletin what bugs the patch fixes.

New update for Galaxy The S20 FE carries firmware version G780FXXS2BUA5 and is currently available to users in several European countries including Switzerlandcarska and France. As always, you can check its availability by opening the menu Settings, by selecting the option Software update and tapping the option Download and install.

Samsung also released what the February security patch fixed. For the most part, these were exploits enabling various MITM (man-in-the-middle) attacks, but a bug manifested in the form of a bug in the wallpaper launch service, which enabled DDoS (Denial-of-service) attacks, was also fixed. In addition, a vulnerability in the Samsung Email application was fixed, which allowed attackers to gain access to it and secretly monitor the communication between the client and the provider. However, according to the technology giant, none of these or other errors were "critically" dangerous.

The phones of the series have already received the update with the latest security patch Galaxy S20 to Galaxy Note 20, but also a three-year-old smartphone Galaxy A8 (2018).
