Huawei has announced today when it will launch its second foldable phone, the Mate X2. As expected, it will be very soon - February 22.

Huawei announced the date of the Mate X2 launch in the form of an invitation, which dominates the display of the new product. The image suggests what was previously speculated to be that the device will fold inwards (its predecessor folded outwards).

The main display of the smartphone should have a diagonal of 8,01 inches with a resolution of 2222 x 2480 px and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the external screen, according to unofficial reports, will have a size of 6,45 inches and a resolution of 1160 x 2270 px. The phone should also get a top Kirin 9000 chipset, quad camera with 50, 16, 12 and 8 MPx resolution, 16MPx front camera, battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh, support for fast charging with a power of 66 W, Android 10 with EMU 11 user superstructure and dimensions 161,8 x 145,8 x 8,2 mm.

Its direct competitor will be Samsung's foldable smartphone Galaxy From Fold 3, which should be introduced in June or July, as well as one of Xiaomi's upcoming flexible phones. Other major smartphone players, such as Vivo, Oppo, Google, and even Honor, are apparently preparing the "puzzle" this year. So this field should be more than lively this year.
