The first renders of Huawei's second foldable smartphone, the Mate X2, have leaked into the air. They show that when folded the device has a double punch-through screen and when unfolded it uses an all-screen design – so there's no cutout or hole for the camera like Samsung Galaxy fold a Galaxy From Fold 2.

The Mate X2 will apparently have a different design than its predecessor – this time it will fold inward instead of outward, which means that instead of one display panel, which serves as the main screen when folded and as an external display when unfolded, it will have two different panels.

According to unofficial information so far, the main display will have a diagonal of 8,01 inches with a resolution of 2222 x 2480 px and support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and an external screen of 6,45 inches with a resolution of 1160 x 2270 px. In addition, the phone should have a Kirin 9000 chipset, a quad camera with a resolution of 50, 16, 12 and 8 MPx, a battery with a capacity of 4400 mAh, support for fast charging with a power of 66 W, and the software is said to be based on Androidu 10 with EMUI 11 user interface.

Huawei has already announced in the form of a teaser that the Mate X2 will be launched on February 22. It is unknown at this time if it will be released outside of China. If it does, it will likely be available in limited quantities.
