Samsung's first 65W charger is back on the scene. It received another certification, this time from the German security company TÜV SÜD (it received a certificate from the Korean authorities last September). The new certification is not mandatory, but it was to be expected - Samsung and the Munich company have been partners for several years and together they are trying to raise the quality bar for modern automotive LED components.

The new certification about the charger does not reveal anything new informace, however, indicates that its introduction to the scene is approaching. The charger with the model number EP-TA865 is known at the moment to have a USB-C port and support the latest PD (Power Delivery) fast charging standard called PPS (Programmable Power Supply). This technology makes it possible to adjust the output voltage and current in real time during charging, according to the specifications of the device being charged.

The question of the day is what device will support its charging performance. It is possible that it will be the next flagship of Samsung Galaxy Notes 21 or the next flexible smartphone Galaxy From Fold 3, but these are really just assumptions. The current most powerful charger of the technological giant is the 45W adapter EP-TA845, for which, however, it has no use yet (flagships Galaxy S21 support charging with a maximum power of 25 W).
