Samsung's pace in releasing the update s Androidem 11 and the One UI 3.0 user extensions based on it are not slowing down one bit - its latest recipient is a smartphone Galaxy A71 5G. At the moment, it is only distributed in the US under the network of the mobile operator Sprint, but it should not be long before it expands to other countries.
New update for Galaxy The A71 5G carries firmware version A716USQU2CUA7 and includes the January security patch. It fixes, for example, a memory corruption exploit, a stack overflow vulnerability, and other security flaws, none of which have been identified as critical by Samsung.
As always, you can check the availability of a new update by opening the menu Settings, by selecting the option Software update and tapping the option Download and install.
The release notes for the new firmware are very comprehensive and mention, among other things, a redesigned user interface including a more uniform look or smoother animations, faster running of applications thanks to improved dynamic memory allocation, improved Samsung Keyboard application, modernized native applications and, last but not least, improved automatic camera focus.
