Samsung keeps rolling out the update with the February security patch and just less than a day after the series started receiving it Galaxy Note 10, "landed" on a three-year-old smartphone Galaxy Note 9. It is currently distributed in Germany.

The new update carries the firmware version N960FXXS8FUB1 and, as always, it should spread to other countries in the world soon – within weeks at the most. Owners Galaxy Note 9s can expect to receive roughly eight more monthly patches before switching to "once a quarter" mode. After all, it was the same with his predecessor.

Just to remind you - the latest security patch fixed, among other things, exploits that allowed MITM attacks or a vulnerability manifested by an error in the service responsible for launching wallpapers that allowed DDoS attacks. A vulnerability in the Samsung Email application was also fixed, which allowed attackers to gain access to it and secretly monitor communications between the client and the provider. Samsung has not identified any of these or other bugs as critical.

The series phones have already received the update with the February security patch Galaxy S21, S20, S9, Note 20 and Note 10 or smartphones Galaxy S20 FE and Note 10 Lite.
