Samsung, like some other tech giants, has tried to develop technology for augmented and virtual reality in the past, but its attempts have not yielded the desired results. But last year, he was granted a patent for AR glasses, indicating that he has made great progress in this field. Now a video has leaked into the air that shows two Samsung augmented reality glasses in action – Samsung AR Glasses and Glasses Lite. However, it is not clear if they are based on this patent.

The video suggests that the glasses will be able to project a virtual screen in front of the user's eyes, allowing them to play games or watch movies. However, the use should be much broader and include, for example, the integration of DeX mode, which will allow users to do office work without a PC and monitor, or video calls. In addition, according to the video, the Samsung AR Glasses model will allow you to project three-dimensional objects into the real world and interact with them, which could be useful, for example, in designing buildings.

The video also shows that the Glasses Lite model will not be controlled by users with gestures in the air, but with Samsung's smartwatch. Apple's upcoming AR headset should be controlled in a similar way. In addition, both models will be able to serve as classic (albeit somewhat more massive) sunglasses.

At the moment, it is not known when Samsung might launch the glasses. It's not even certain that they will eventually reach the end consumer, as this is probably just a concept. Judging by the video, their potential could be considerable anyway.
