Just a few weeks after the smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 received a somewhat unusual update inspired by older and slightly less powerful watches Galaxy Watch Active 2, even an almost three-year-old model is getting an update to Tizen 5.5.0.1 Galaxy Watch. It is currently available in many regions of the world and is almost 300 MB in size.
The new update brings, among other things, an improved notification system that shows images from various chat apps as well as "good old" text, support for both AR Emoji and Bitmoji, a voice guide service through connected headphones while tracking running and other exercises, a few minor improvements regarding running and cycling monitoring and image capture features, and system stability and reliability improvements.
According to unofficial reports, Samsung is preparing at least two new models for this year Galaxy Watch, which should be available in cellular and Bluetooth variants and in two sizes. According to the well-known leaker Ice universe, the next watch of the South Korean technology giant could be built on androidsystem Wear OS, which many users would certainly welcome - the Tizen OS has long been criticized for its closedness and, as a result, lack of applications.

– images in message previews;
– some emoji, apparently, which I can't see;

– the system is slow;
– the watch disconnects from the phone;
– when you raise your hand, it wakes up in 1-2 seconds;
– quick overview of steps, calories and floors disappeared;
– some dials have disappeared…
