As you may recall, Samsung quietly launched a budget smartphone in Vietnam about a month ago Galaxy M12. Now, the tech giant has started teasing it on its Indian website where it has revealed its launch date.

Galaxy The M12 will be launched in India on March 11 and will be available through the Indian version of Amazon. Its price is unknown at this time.

As a reminder – the smartphone has a PLS IPS display with a diagonal of 6,5 inches, a resolution of HD+ (720 x 1600 px) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz (it is the second non-flagship Samsung phone boasting a higher refresh rate than today's still standard 60 Hz, which was not previously mentioned), a lower class Exynos 850 chipset, 4 GB of operating memory, 64 GB of expandable internal memory, a quad camera with a resolution of 48, 5, 2 and 2 MPx, an 8MPx front camera, a fingerprint reader built into the power button, a 3,5 mm jack, Androidem 11 with One UI 3.0 superstructure and a battery with a huge capacity of 6000 mAh and support for fast charging with a power of 15 W.

At the moment it is not clear if the phone will ever make it to Europe, however there is some hope because in the case of its predecessor - last year's Galaxy M11 – it was so.
