Samsung has finally started producing solid chipsets recently. Exynos 980, which the South Korean tech giant revealed at the end of last year and which powered, for example, an extremely popular mid-range smartphone Galaxy A71 5G, was his first good chip in many years. The company has also introduced chips in recent months Exynos 1080 a Exynos 2100, which proved to be more than competitive. Now it looks like Samsung is working on a new Exynos.

According to a Dutch website GalaxyClub cited by the SamMobile server, Samsung is developing a new Exynos chipset with the model designation S5E5515, which should fall into the middle class in terms of performance. It is also said to be likely to have a built-in 5G modem.

In any case, it is said that we won't see the new chipset anytime soon - it could be launched at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. It should also be kept in mind that the tech giant may also be working on new chips for its wearable devices and glasses for augmented reality.

And perhaps not only for these devices - it leaked into the ether last week informace, that upcoming next generation Exynos, which will be equipped with an AMD graphics chip, will not debut in Samsung's flagship smartphone as suggested, but in its ARM notebook with Windows 10.
