Samsung has started rolling out the March security patch to the new flagship phones Galaxy S21 has smartphone Galaxy A8 (2018). Already in the past few days, as part of the update with the One UI 3.1 user interface, some devices began to receive it, for example, phones of the series Galaxy Notes 10.

Update with the March patch for the series Galaxy S21 carries firmware version G99x0ZHU1AUB7 and is about 387 MB in size, update for Galaxy A8 (2018) then version A530FXXSICUC1. The first mentioned update includes improvements to the camera and overall performance, but as usual, Samsung did not provide any details. Part of the update for Galaxy The A8 (2018) doesn't appear to have any improvements, which isn't surprising given its age.

What the new security patch fixes is not known at this time, but the South Korean tech giant should reveal it in its security bulletin in the coming weeks.

As a reminder – the security patch for the month of February mainly fixed vulnerabilities enabling MITM attacks or an exploit in the Samsung Email application, which allowed attackers to gain access to it and secretly monitor communications between the client and the provider.

As always, you can check the availability of new updates by opening the menu Settings, by selecting the option Software update and tapping the option Download and install.
