A few days ago we they wrote that Samsung's "next-gen" chipset with an AMD graphics chip should be called the Exynos 2200, and that it will debut in the tech giant's ARM notebook later this year, according to Korean media. Now another leak has entered the air, according to which the chipset will also exist in a version for smartphones. It will reportedly offer 25% better processing power and massively higher graphics performance than Samsung's current flagship chip Exynos 2100.

According to a leaker who goes by the name TheGalox on Twitter, the laptop version will be roughly 20% faster than the mobile version. The mobile version is said to be a quarter faster than the Exynos 2100, and in the area of graphics it should surpass it even two and a half times. It should also be twice as powerful in this area as Apple's current flagship chip, the A14 Bionic.

That the graphics performance of the Exynos 2200 should be very high indeed, the GFXBench benchmark should have hinted back in January, in which, according to Korean media, it was more than 40% faster than the aforementioned A14 Bionic. The question, however, is how it will fare against the successor to Apple's flagship chip (the alleged A15), which is supposed to power this year's generation of iPhones.

The leaker does not mention which smartphone will power the mobile version first. However, it is quite possible to imagine that it will make its debut in the phones of the series Galaxy S22 next year. Or perhaps he will use it this year Galaxy Note 21? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below the article.
