Samsung released for the smartphone Galaxy A50s new update that brings some camera functions from last year's flagship series Galaxy S20. Specifically, these are the Single Take, Night Hyperlapse and My Filters modes.

As for the Single Take mode, it works by having the phone take photos and videos for up to 10 seconds, and then use artificial intelligence to suggest the final edit to the user (eg blur the background, choose a certain shot, aspect ratio, etc.).

The Night Hyperlapse mode is used to shoot better time-lapse videos in the dark or in the twilight, and the My Filters mode allows you to create your own photo filters (up to 99 can be created).

The new update carries the firmware designation A507FNXXU5CUB3 and has a size of less than 220 MB. It includes the January security patch, which already received the standard one more than a month ago Galaxy A50. At the moment, users in India are getting the update, but it should roll out to other markets soon.

Galaxy The A50s is not the only mid-range smartphone to which Samsung has brought the aforementioned features. Phones received the update with them already last summer  Galaxy A51 a Galaxy A71. It can be assumed that other "non-flagship" devices of the technological giant will receive them in the future.
