Smartphone Galaxy A82 5G, the successor to the two-year-old phone Galaxy A80, which attracted the attention of the unique design of the front camera, appeared in the Geekbench benchmark. Among other things, he revealed that it will be powered by a two-year-old chip.

According to Geekbench it will Galaxy A82 5G to use the Snapdragon 855 chipset. This is the same chip that powered Samsung's first non-flagship smartphone with support for 5G networks Galaxy A90 5G. The chip is paired with 6 GB of RAM and the device is software-based Androidu 11. What version of the user interface it will run on is not known at the moment, but it will probably be One UI 3.1.

It is in the benchmark Galaxy The A82 5G is listed under the model name SM-A826S, which suggests it is a Korean variant, however the phone will almost certainly arrive in other markets as well.

We currently do not know if the smartphone will feature a similar front camera mechanism as the Galaxy A80, but given that the phone hasn't been a huge success, it's possible that Samsung will make more fundamental changes to its successor's camera design to make sure it appeals to a wider audience. At the moment it is also not known when Galaxy A82 5G could be launched, various unofficial informace however, they are talking about the second half of the year.
